Izanne RoosIzanne Roos

Dr Izanne Roos received her MBBS from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. She is now a neurologist and post-doctoral research fellow in MS at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Australia, where she received an award for Best Neurology Fellow in 2020. She focuses on outcomes research and multi-registry observational data. She has developed analytical expertise in longitudinal modelling, individual predictive protocols and propensity score-based methods. Dr Roos is passionate about exploring clinically relevant questions with the prospect of influencing standards of clinical care in Australia and internationally.

christophChristoph Kleinschnitz

Professor Christoph Kleinschnitz is a consultant neurologist and head of the department of neurology at the University Hospital of Essen, Germany. His clinical focus includes MS, stroke and neurological intensive care. His main research interests are thrombo-inflammation, cerebrovascular disorders and neuroimmunology, with a strong focus on translational and clinical studies.

 


Heidi Crayton Heidi Crayton

Dr Heidi Crayton is a neurologist specializing in MS. She completed a residency in adult neurology at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington DC, USA, before carrying out a fellowship in MS and establishing a full-time MS centre in Georgetown. She established the MS Center of Greater Washington in 2007, the only full-time non-academic MS centre in the mid-Atlantic region of the USA. She has been a principal investigator in clinical trials for MS therapeutics and has been involved in developing a treatment algorithm for symptom management in MS.

 

Tarunya ArunTarunya Arun

Dr Tarunya Arun is a consultant neurologist and the research lead for neurology at the University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire, UK. She completed her specialist training in neurology from the Oxford Deanery and obtained sub-specialist training in neuroinflammation. She was awarded a doctorate for her work using novel magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques to study brain function in people with MS. Dr Arun has a special interest in neuroinflammatory disease. She is the Chair of the Neuroinflammatory Special Interest Group of the Association of British Neurologists, a member of the UK registries and trials consortium, and the principal investigator on several multicentre clinical trials.
