Are you aware that respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection can lead to severe outcomes including death in high-risk populations? The unmet needs in RSV infection management are wide ranging. There is a need for improved diagnosis, particularly in vulnerable adult populations, RSV prevention strategies and RSV-targeting treatments.
With preventative RSV vaccines and RSV treatments currently under investigation, improved awareness of patients who are at risk of severe RSV infection will be key for integration of new strategies into clinical practice
In this RSV Learning Zone, find out more on risk factors for severe RSV infection, RSV burden, RSV diagnosis, as well as current and future RSV prevention and treatment strategies.
