Forapin E was a topical analgesic ointment containing:

  • Lyophilized bee venom, standardized
  • Bornyl salicylate
  • Methyl nicotinate

It was indicated for the temporary relief of:

  • Rheumatic muscle and joint pain
  • Sciatica
  • Tendonitis and joint inflammation
  • Cold injuries
  • Prophylaxis and treatment of sports injuries

Forapin E is discontinued and no longer authorized or marketed in major regions. It is absent from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and European Medicines Agency (EMA) databases, and no recent clinical trials or safety updates are available.
