Galapagos to separate into two entities
Galapagos NV announced a planned separation into two entities: a newly to be formed company (to be named at a later date, herein “SpinCo”), which would focus on building a pipeline of innovative medicines through transformational transactions, and Galapagos, which would continue to advance its global cell therapy leadership in addressing high unmet medical needs in oncology
SpinCo will apply to have its shares listed on Euronext, with all Galapagos shareholders to receive shares of SpinCo on a pro rata basis based on their shares of Galapagos owned as of a record date to be established.
